1

Select DXF File

Swipe the map to the left — the settings panel opens, where you can select a DXF file. Pipeline plans, cadastral data or as-built drawings are loaded into the app within seconds.

2

Confirm Coordinate System

The app automatically checks whether the coordinate system of the DXF file matches the currently selected system. For Austrian plans this is usually MGI / Austria GK Central (EPSG:31255).

Tap "Continue" to confirm the import.

3

Data on the Map

DXF objects are immediately displayed as coloured lines and labels on the map. Pipe types, diameters and materials are directly readable — overlaid on OpenStreetMap as a reference.

A confirmation appears at the bottom showing the number of loaded objects, e.g. "676 DXF objects displayed".

4

Navigate & Zoom

Pan the map freely and zoom in to individual pipe sections. Your GPS position is continuously updated — so you always see where you are relative to the plan.

💡 Tip: The DXF file must be in the same coordinate system as the one set in the app. For Austrian municipal plans this is typically MGI / Austria GK Central (EPSG:31255).
